Mentoring
Each Summer Associate in the Springfield office is paired with an attorney as a mentor. The mentor is an excellent resource for legal questions, but also provides more than legal guidance. The mentor is available to the Summer Associate for any issues that may arise or questions the summer clerk may have. Mentors have been known to help locate summer housing, have the Summer Associate to their home for dinner, and discuss and develop the Summer Associate's career goals. A mentor is generally considered a close friend before the summer program has ended.
